PLASMA NITRIDE OVENS (DOUBLE BASED)
Individual plasma nitriding systems for your requirements Every customer has different wishes and requirements. We fulfill them. Our quality promise is always the same: Every plant we make works reliably and precisely to deliver consistent, reproducible finishing results. Items we supply include: Individual plants as bell-type or pit-type furnaces: Bell-type plants are very operator-friendly; pit-type furnaces are exceptionally well suited to nitriding long, slim components that easily warp, such as spindles, extruder screws and shafts, or for automatic loading. Double-base systems as bell-type furnaces: Double-base systems enable you to use one base for nitriding while preparing the next batch on the other base. The changeover occurs automatically when the process has finished. Unorthodox solutions such as rotary furnace vacuum systems As standard, our systems are available in various sizes and can be integrated easily into your manufacturing. We have implemented everything – heights from 0.5 to 6 m, diameters from 0.45 to 6 m and component weights from 2 g to 40 t. All systems are offered as standard systems at 20 cm diameter 25 cm height.

PlasmaTEC-X
Atmospheric Plasma System with Optimized Features Tantec's advanced PlasmaTEC-X system for atmospheric plasma treatments is based on the principle of DC high-voltage discharge at standard atmospheric pressure. Thanks to its flexibility, it can be easily integrated into robotic processes, used as a stand-alone device, or employed in various production processes. For effective plasma discharge from the nozzle, the correct air pressure range is essential. This is where the innovative AirTEC system comes into play, which is integrated into the PlasmaTEC-X generators. It continuously ensures a constant operating pressure and automatically adjusts it, regardless of the length of the attached nozzle. The combination of the AirTEC system with the universal power supply module makes the PlasmaTEC-X an especially user-friendly tool.

Plastic bearing cages
LEGROM is one of the pioneers in the development, mold design and production of bearing cages made of technical plastics and thermoplastics resistant to high temperatures and has been regarded as a specialist in this area for more than 60 years on a global level. The first plastic bearing cage, manufactured at that time from Perlon polymer, was created at LEGROM as early as the 1950’s. Use of the latest production techniques and special production processes enables LEGROM to meet even the most unusual customer requests in the modern roller bearing industry. Plastic housing
Plastic housings are ideal for applications where functionality, light weight, durability, and aesthetics are crucial. With a thoughtfully designed plastic housing over the individual components, the end product operates reliably and lasts a long time.

plastic injection molding

Plastic injection molding
Production at LEGROM is almost exclusively fully automated. To ensure optimum injection molding conditions, the granulated material is pre-dried in a central drying system and then fed from there to individual machines via a pipe system. Our state-of-the-art machinery and spotless machine environment meet all the prerequisites needed to assure the level of quality and flexibility demanded. Consulting in plastics technology Global delivery capability Injection molding machines with closing forces ranging from 350 to 2000 KN Injection moldings ranging from 0.01 to 400 grams in weight Single and multi-component injection molding Insert molding (metal and ceramic) Depositing of components through handling systems or robots High-performance thermoplastics at LEGROM Practically every high-performance plastic available on the market is used at LEGROM, ranging from PA, PBT, POM or ABS to PMMA, PPO, PPA, PAA and PES, PSU or PEI engineering plastics to high-performance thermoplastics such as LCP, PPS or PEEK. LEGROM has the appropriate solution for every plastic, both in mold construction and injection molding production. LEGROM also processes all conventional fillers, including glass fibers, carbon fibers, glass spheres, PTFE, carbon or titanium dioxide. Special mold materials and special machine equipment is available for every filler. LEGROM can realise up to 70% filler content of the raw material. Plastic Medical
Ultrasonic welding technology for demanding applications with high quality requirements The Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices defines medical devices as products with a medical purpose that are intended by the manufacturer for use in humans. Medical devices include, for example, infusion accessories such as drop sensors. A special seam design in conjunction with a contour sonotrode enables a watertight weld here. In this product, the lid is welded with a finely grained surface without damaging the visible side. Ultrasonic technology offers versatile solutions for applications in the medical sector. The use of ultrasonic is also an established process for the classic production of face masks, as well as for the manufacture of FFP masks and hygiene and protective equipment. These applications can be found here: Industries » Technical Textiles » Nonwoven.
