ProFile Production Equipment Monitoring Management by Progressive Components For monitoring physical assets such as machines and production equipment—often deployed across multiple locations—WEMA has successfully offered mechanical, non-resettable cycle counters in various designs for many years. Now, the partner company PROGRESSIVE Components has expanded its range of tool monitoring devices with software solutions under the name ProFile by introducing a CVe equipment monitoring device (CVeAC). Reliable monitoring of production equipment and tools—especially when used across multiple locations—is essential for efficiency, quality, and transparency in manufacturing. The CVeAC monitor precisely records cycle and time data and transmits it via Bluetooth directly to smartphones, eliminating the need for cables and additional hardware. The device efficiently captures historical cycle counts and time data, making it indispensable for troubleshooting quality issues and analyzing tool performance problems. The collected data is available in real time and enables in-depth analysis of tool performance. It is an ideal solution for medium to large national and international OEMs, where centralized management of large tool fleets across multiple sites is handled from a main location. These devices generate comprehensive reports for analyzing performance metrics as well as tracking preventive tool maintenance indicators and efficiency data, all accessible via the user-friendly ProFile app. Using the ProFile app, users can generate tabular performance metrics based on recorded cycles, allowing them to assess whether company objectives are being met or to make data-driven decisions for process optimization. All data can be downloaded via the app and wirelessly transferred to the ProFile Cloud.
