About us
We develop and manufacture high-quality shredders for the plastics and recycling industries. As one of the first steps in recycling, shredding lays the foundation for the quality and cost-effectiveness of subsequent processing.
That is why we focus on the end result: precisely cut material or flakes that enable stable and efficient downstream processes.
The feed material enters the cutting chamber of Hellweg cutting mills via a feed chute. There, it is shredded between the rotor and stator blades through repeated cuts until it can pass through the screen in the lower half of the grinding chamber due to the grinding pressure. The easily replaceable screen allows the hole size to be adjusted to the desired particle size.
The size and drive power of the cutting mill are generally determined by the size and shape of the feed material as well as the required throughput.
