      Otura stands for our oat fiber reinforced biopolymer compound, containing of up to 35% of oat fiber from milled oat hulls. Oat hulss are a by-product of the grain processing industry, which are produced in vast amounts. We return this by-product to the material cycle in a value-adding way and thus save a significant amount of the costly biopolymer. In addition to the cost savings, the natural fiber also contributes to a reinforcing effect of the compound. This compound ist especially designed for the use in injection molding process. With the addition of a few percent of color pigments, the compounds can also achieve excellent coloring during injection molding.
