      AZO®eDos Dosing system for precise dosing of small quantities

      In the food, plastics and chemical industries, precise and clean dosing of bulk materials is crucial for the quality of the end product. With the newly developed eDos system, AZO presents a latest-generation dosing solution. It is particularly suitable for the exact dosing of small quantities in automated processes. At the heart of the system is a dosing unit made of wear-resistant polyurethane (PU). It is optionally available in a food-compliant or silicone-free version. Thanks to its innovative design, there are no moving metal parts in the product flow. This means no metal abrasion, minimal maintenance and maximum process reliability. Dosing itself is carried out by a servo-electric dosing gripper, which opens the PU dosing lip by applying targeted pressure, thus releasing a precisely defined material flow. Accuracies of up to ±1 g and a dosing capacity of 650 l/h are possible. The dosing process remains precise even with abrasive or difficult-to-flow products. The system is rounded off by an integrated dust extraction system and a pneumatic knocker. This not only optimises discharge, but also significantly reduces dust formation – a real advantage in terms of cleanliness, occupational safety and environmental regulations.

Many volunteers dedicate their time to the food bank and ensure its distribution. In this way, the food banks make a vital contribution to combating food waste and poverty.

      BADAFLEX®

      Where toughness and elasticity count Badaflex TPE-S are thermoplastic elastomers based on styrol block copolymers. These unite the excellent processing qualities of thermoplastic plastics with the elastomer qualities of rubber. Particularly noteworthy properties include pleasant haptics, maximum toughness, elasticity and low temperature flexibility (down to -50°C) not to mention very good ozone and weather proofness. The entire product group is available in coloured and transparent nuances. Badaflex compounds can be widely varied in hardness from Shore 10A to 60D. Heat-resistant, fire-retardant and odour-reduced compounds as well as modifications in respect of surface, deformation and flow quality can be adjusted to the customer’s requirements. Our main strength lies in our specially developed types for 2-component processing: With these, we achieve particularly good adhesion results on various hard components.

      BADAGREEN®

      BADAGREEN includes plastic compounds from Bada that are based on sustainable polymers. The minimum proportion of "green" polymer is 25% and can be achieved in various ways. The most natural raw material base for these compounds is, for example, castor oil, which is derived from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant. This results in a reduced carbon footprint compared to petroleum-based compounds. The non-fossil raw material base does not affect the well-known advantages of technical plastics, such as durability, flexibility, chemical resistance, etc. On the contrary, PA510, for example, has a very high-quality Class A surface finish, making it ideal for optical components. Additionally, there is the possibility of using mass-balanced polymers and raw materials from chemical recycling, which is expected to gain increasing importance in the future. Whether in the automotive industry, aerospace, medical field, or everyday consumer goods industry – sustainable BADA compounds impress with their versatility and reliability. We are happy to create a customized formulation for you with the desired "green" content, the application-specific technical requirements, and in your preferred color.

      Bespoke specialties & blends With its many variations, the Badalac ABS product group is already successfully positioned on the market. It includes specialties such as heatproof types with an increased Vicat softening temperature, improved flowing properties, increased toughness, fibre glass reinforcement and flame retardant adjustments. As for all Bada products, coloured ABS types are available on request, even in small batch sizes. A series of ABS-based blends can also be supplied, e.g. ABS/PA and ABS/PC blends.

      The Badalon product line consists of thermoplastics based on polycarbonate. Badalon stands out for its excellent almost glassy transparency in combination with high impact resistance. Due to its amorphous character, Badalon PC shows extremely low shrinkage, meaning that parts made from Badalon PC have such a high dimensional accuracy and stability that even extremely tight tolerances can be met. We can provide both transparent colours in any colour shade and material types dyed with opaque colours. In addition to mechanical, optical and dimensional advantages, Badalon PC is a very good electrical isolator, which opens up a broad range of applications in the electrical industry, in addition to applications in mechanical engineering, the automotive industry, or domestic applications.

These thermoplastic construction materials based on polyamide (PA6, PA66, PA66/6, PA6/6T, PPA, PA9T, PA610, PA612, PA12) feature outstanding, versatile properties. Besides their exceptional mechanical strength and high thermal resistance, polyamides also demonstrate good toughness at low temperatures and favourable friction and abrasion behaviour. Badamid has proven its worth in a variety of technical sectors, e.g. for machine elements, in the electrical, electronic and automobile industry and for construction, furniture-making and leisure applications. Badamid can be further processed by all conventional moulding processes.       Partly crosslinked EPDM/PP blends for versatile implementation Our product spectrum of thermoplastic elastomers is rounded off by a wide range of partly crosslinked EPDM/PP blends. Badaprene TPVs offer excellent qualities such as chemical resistance, high weather, UV and ozone proofness and good mechanical characteristics. Badaprene TPV can be varied by a gamut of properties, e.g. in Shore hardness (from 35A to 65D), processing properties, surface finish and colour. This variety assures a wide range of applications in the automobile, engineering, electronics, building and leisure industries.

      High-performance compounds The Badatron PPS product line comprises high-performance compounds based on polyphenylene sulfide. Glass fibre reinforced Badatron PPS is well suited for parts exposed to aggressive media and extreme thermal stress due to its extremely high heat distortion temperatures beyond 250°C. In addition, Badatron PPS is the ideal material for all precision parts due to its high dimensional stability. Filler contents up to 50% ensure highest rigidity and strength, making Badatron PPS a weight-saving alternative to metal for numerous applications. Badatron PPS shows inherent flame resistance and achieves flame class V-0 pursuant to UL94, without the addition of fire protection agents.
