Kunststoffrezyklate werden schon seit Langem in Automobilen genutzt. Bisher ist das jedoch selten im Fahrzeuginnenraum der Fall. TechnoCompound ist es gelungen bei Interieurkomponenten PCR-Anteile von über 20 Prozent realisieren zu lassen, insofern sich das verwendete Compound dafür eignet. Im Juni 2024 wurde erstmals ein Instrumententafelträger aus langfaserverstärktem Polypropylen (PP) mit einem signifikanten Anteil an PCR realisiert. Für die Serienfreigabe musste das eingesetzte Material sowohl die erforderlichen physikalischen Eigenschaften als auch strenge Qualitätsstandards erfüllen. Der genehmigte Werkstoff, TechnoGreen PP LGF 20-10-04 L E, weist einen PCR-Gehalt von 21 % auf und ermöglicht somit eine CO2-Reduktion von 15 % im Vergleich zu einem Compound aus Neuware. Dieser innovative Werkstoff eröffnet Automobilherstellern und deren Systemlieferanten die Möglichkeit, den Einsatz von PCR im Fahrzeuginnenraum signifikant zu erweitern.

THE ANSWER TO MOLD ENGINEERING. To achieve a perfect cavity bleeding system, VORTEX® offers an air-permeable steel. Its uniform micro-porosity lets air and gas escape through the mold itself. Venting problems, flow lines, gas fires, insufficient filling and the associated formation of burrs can be minimized by using VORTEX® and even eliminated completely. The sintered material itself is noted for its great strength and hardness and good load-bearing capacities. It can be utilized as an ideal factor in process optimization.
