Optimal temperature control for injection molding tools Our new partner Contura MTC has set itself the goal of offering its clients the best possible service in all aspects of optimal temperature control for injection molding tools. Comprehensive consultation is the first step in every project and also forms the basis for further cooperation. This allows the temperature control experts and their clients to assess and discuss possibilities and potential. In order to provide the most concrete and meaningful advice possible, the experts have developed a checklist that has proven to be extremely effective. Conveying injector conveyor IF 01 / IF 03
The Gerco IF series injector feeders are designed for conveying all types of plastic granules. They operate according to the Venturi principle with compressed air and enable the automatic filling of GERCO dryers with a maximum individual container volume of 50 liters, as well as plastics processing machines. The GERCO granulate dryers feature special connection components that establish a connection between the conveyor and the dryer.

Conveying two-station granulate conveyor
The ZSF series conveyors are used for conveying all types of plastic granules. The units are equipped with a side channel blower and are used for the automatic filling of two plastics processing machines. The GERCO granulate dryers feature special mounting elements for connecting the conveyor and dryer.

Conveying Universal Conveyor GDFuni
The Gerco GDFuni series vacuum conveyors are suitable for conveying both difficult-to-flow powders and plastic granules. They are equipped with a compressed air drive that enables automatic filling of dosing and mixing devices, as well as dryers, with powders and granules. The GDFuni achieves a maximum conveying capacity of up to 250 kg/h for granules.

Conveyor systems / conveyor technology
Modern conveying technology connects storage, production, and logistics into an efficient material flow. Various conveying systems enable clean, economical, and product-friendly transport of bulk materials and can be flexibly integrated into existing processes. Pressure conveying is particularly suitable for the internal transport of large material quantities. The material is metered into the conveying line via a rotary valve and transported, for example, into silos using conveying air. High conveying capacities and optional automation enable continuous processes and targeted distribution to different storage containers. Screw conveyors are mainly used for mixing and precise dosing of bulk materials. Different sizes, drive systems, and steel or stainless-steel designs allow optimal adaptation to various applications, ensuring reliable and economical conveying performance. The flexible spiral conveyor enables dust-free, segregation-free, and especially gentle conveying of sensitive materials. Flexible system layouts, simple installation, and low noise emission increase operational efficiency. Conveying capacities of up to 20 m³ per hour and long conveying distances provide additional application possibilities. In vacuum conveying, a vacuum system generates negative pressure that draws in the material and transports it to a cyclone separator. This process ensures clean, flexible, and efficient material transport for a wide range of industrial applications.

Conveyor Technology, Separation Systems and Automation
MTF Technik offers individual solutions to optimise your material flow in production, as a single device for conveying, separating, distributing and buffering, or as a combined system. This image demonstrates such a combination, consisting of parts feeding with a vertical belt conveyor from a bunker, subsequent separation using a patented rectangle separating drum and finally distribution of the separated parts to a lift buffer station and a floor-level displacement buffer sliding plate. The lift system is also equipped with an integrated weighing cell in order to show how plastic components are counted by means of weight conversion. Cooling Compact Slide
Introducing a new feature on the CUMSA compact slides with floating Insert. Now a cooling system is offered to be able to cool the head insert. At CUMSA we are aware of how challenging it can be removing heat during the molding process. We have now found an option to include cooling systems for difficult-to-cool areas in our compact slides, part number CS. The new component is the CR, (Cooled compact Slide) which is available in three standards sizes. The CR includes an insert with pre-drilled holes, these holes are designed to make it easier to finish the cooling circuit once the insert detail is machined. The insert also has a 1/8 Gas threaded hole on each side to connect the Cooling Hoses, (MR sold separately) directly to the waterlines. The model CR42 has 3 predrilled holes, model CR52 has 4 holes, and the larger model, the CR62, has 5. With this addition CUMSA has delivered an effective cooling system, which can help optimize the molding process, lower cycle times, decrease energy consumption and improve plastic part quality. What is new about this product? The cooling system combined with the insert design eliminates the need for a high precision pocket. What sets this product apart from its competitors?
