      Transparency regarding climate protection is becoming increasingly important – both for our customers and for us as a responsible company. We therefore want to develop a practical tool that allows the CO₂ footprint of our products to be calculated simply, reliably, and transparently – and which can be used directly in the quotation process. The tool will be based on Microsoft Excel, be flexibly customizable, and enable us to provide a product-specific CO₂ analysis with every customer quote. The goal is to develop an Excel-based calculation model that allows us to determine the CO₂ emissions for each product (cradle-to-gate) – based on material usage, energy consumption, machine operating times, transport routes, and packaging. In addition, an automatically generated results report for customer quotes should be possible.
