Die MLPlastics GmbH mit Sitz in Hamburg ist ein in Europa agierendes Handels- und Distributionsunternehmen, das sich seit der Gründung im Jahre 2003 zu Beginn auf die Bereiche Masterbatches und Additivkonzentrate fokussiert hat. Mit dem Ausbau des Geschäftsbereiches im Jahre 2010 wurde das Geschäftsmodell um die technische Polymer-Distribution erweitert.
Seit nun mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten umfasst das Angebot neben der Herstellung von Masterbatches und Additivkonzentraten mittlerweile eine Vielzahl technischer Polymere und Hochleistungspolymere, sowie die kundenorientierte Fertigung von maßgeschneiderten Polymerlösungen.

MLPlastics GmbH meets the constantly growing demands of the markets for masterbatches, technical polymers, specialty compounds and high-performance polymers. The requirements of our customers set the standard for the quality of our products and services. We measure our success by the assessment of our customers. Our quality policy ensures that the requirements of all customers with regard to our products and processes are met in full and without deviations at all times. It´s our declared aim to maintain this high standard continuously and without exception and to constantly improve it. Our suppliers make a significant contribution to the quality of our products and services. We therefore place the same quality demands on them as we do on ourselves. MLPlastics GmbH is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and manufactures approx. 4000 tons for products in its own range. PP-LGF compounds, reinforced compounds : PP, PBT, PET
TechnoCompound GmbH is a supplier of customised plastic compounds. Polymers under the brand names TechnoFin, TechnoFiber, TechnoGreen, TechnoDur and TechnoForce are compounded, refined and modified on modern production facilities to meet customer-specific requirements. The broad product portfolio of functionally modified plastics ranges from commodities and technical compounds to thermoplastic elastomers (TechnoElast). With a capacity of around 35,000 tonnes, the company produces polyolefin and polyamide compounds, (TechnoMid) long glass fibre compounds, electrically conductive compounds and carbon fibre-reinforced compounds. The company also specialises in PBT and PET compounds. ( TechnoDur and TechnoPet) There are already many approvals in the automotive industry.
TPC-ET and hot melt adhesives based on copolyesters and copolyamides
SIPOL® SpA, founded in 1998, is a specialist in the polymerisation of high-performance polymers. The privately owned company is part of the Tecnogi Group and has a high degree of flexibility and innovativeness. The core competence of SIPOL® is the development and production of thermoplastic ether-ester elastomers (TPC-ET), hot-melt adhesives based on copolyesters and copolyamides for technical applications, as well as biodegradable copolyesters. Five polymerisation lines with a capacity of 12,000 tonnes/year are available on the 40,000 m² company site near Milan, with a sixth line due to start up in 2022. Operating under the brand name SIPOLPRENE®, SIPOL® produces thermoplastic copolyester elastomers in the hardness range of Shore D 25 - 77, which combine flexibility with high temperature and chemical resistance. The products have a high mechanical level and are used in all technically demanding areas. TECHNIPOL® and TECHNIPOL®PA are hot-melt adhesives based on copolyester and copolyamide for technical applications such as filters (paper coating) or the E&E sector. Biodegradable copolyesters have been developed under the Technipol® BIO brand, some of which have already been certified by TÜV Austria.
Feedstocksysteme für den Metallpulverspritzguss
Die PolyMIM GmbH produziert die beiden Produktserien PolyMIN und PolyPOM. Hierbei handelt es sich um ein Feedstocksystem für den Metallpulverspritzguss. PolyMIM ist ein umweltschonendes Bindersystem auf wasserlöslicher Basis mit optimalen Fließ- und Formfülleigenschaften. PolyPOM ist ein acetalbasiertes Bindersystem. Es gibt unzählige Kombinationsmöglichkeiten die Feedstocks aufzubauen. Ziel ist es immer die wirtschaftliche Herstellung komplexer Bauteilgeometrien ohne aufwendige Nacharbeitsschritte zu erreichen. Damit sparen Sie Zeit, Material und Kosten. Beim Metallpulverspritzguss profitieren Sie gleichermaßen von der Formgebungsmöglichkeit des Kunststoffspritzgusses sowie von den Werkstoffeigenschaften der Pulvermetallurgie.
Functional additives
Palsgaard was founded in 1919. With 500 employees worldwide, the company is of great importance to the food industry. With the invention of food emulsifiers, Palsgaard revolutionised the mass production of food and continues to play a leading role in research and development in this field, and recently the concentrated development of polymer additives with the same structure as found in food chemistry has resulted in a range of highly efficient and safe functional additives for a number of different polymer applications. The main focus is on antistatic, antifog, demoulding and slip properties, as well as improved pigment dispersion for food packaging products. Palsgaard has a dedicated team of developers and technicians with decades of experience both in the development of polymer additives and in providing technical application advice to our customers. Modern laboratory equipment supports the continuous development projects, through which new additive solutions and concepts are regularly introduced. The development centre is an important basis for ensuring that the best possible solution for the respective packaging application or technical problem solution is always developed for customers. Palsgaard has five production sites - in Denmark, the Netherlands, Mexico, Brazil and Malaysia. Production in Denmark has been 100% carbon neutral since 2015, followed by Mexico in 2016 and the Netherlands in 2017. Palsgaard has set itself the goal of operating all production sites completely emission-free by 2020.
Customized and colored technical compounds
Founded in 1976 as a family business, Novalca has grown over the years and its expertise to become one of the largest manufacturers of thermoplastic compounds in Italy. Novalca has reached the most important markets in Europe, North Africa and worldwide. The product ranges listed below are manufactured in two production plants. Novalca specialises in customised and coloured compounds. Novakral ABS Novablend PC/ABS and PC/ASA Novakril SAN Novaran ASA and Novalux PC Novamide PA6 and PA66
Thermoplastic compounds, colour and additive masterbatches
MESGO was founded in 1996 in the north of Italy and has three production facilities in Europe and one facility in Asia. The company specialises in the development and production of thermoplastic compounds and masterbatches. The mostly customised masterbatches include flame retardant compounds as well as highly filled or electrically conductive products. Another core segment of MESGO is additive and colour masterbatches. The speed and precision of colour adjustments are among MESGO's strengths. The production capacity is 12,800 tonnes/year for compounds plus 9,000 tonnes/year for colour and additive masterbatches. Another business area is the development and production of rubber compounds. MESGO is the European market leader in silicone compounds and additives. MESGO has been part of the HEXPOL Group since 2018 in order to further accelerate the company's international focus.
TPEs based on TPS, TPO, TPU, TPV, soft PVC
HEXPOL TPE is a globally operating group specialising in the development and compounding of thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs). Decades of experience ensure that customers are always provided with reliable, suitable and cost-effective TPE compounds in addition to responsive support, technical expertise and application know-how. With locations in Europe, Asia and North America, HEXPOL TPE has a global network. The Group's head office is in Sweden, and the TPE compounds are developed and produced in Germany, the UK, China, the USA and Sweden. With TPEs based on TPS, TPO, TPU, TPV, soft PVC and bio-based technology, Hexpol TPE has one of the most comprehensive portfolios in the industry. The brand names Lifoflex, Dryflex, Lifoprene, Lifocork and Lifolit are compounded according to customer requirements. The compounds lend value, functionality and a soft-touch feel to a growing number of applications in areas such as consumer goods, the medical sector, the packaging industry, the automotive sector, the electronics industry and the construction industry.
Technyl PA6+PA66 compounds, Technyl 4 Earth PA6+PA66 compounds
DOMO Chemicals is a globally active company that is backward-integrated in polyamide 6 and PA66. As part of the acquisition of the European high performance polyamides business from Solvay, MLPlastics adds the Technyl product family to the DOMO Chemicals portfolio. Technyl will be DOMO's new global brand name for products based on PA6 and PA66. Technyl has been offering a compact range of solutions as a market reference since 1953. Biodegradable and sustainable compounds with a 0% Co2 footprint
Beologic is our answer to the question of how we bring sustainability and environmental protection into balance with quality-tested materials and a unique product portfolio. The Belgian producer is our reliable partner in the implementation of bio-based, sustainable and flexible solutions. Since its foundation in 2000, Beologic has focused on the production of wood-plastic polymers of the highest quality and has developed into a manufacturer of compounds based on various polymers and natural fibres with a capacity of 20,000 tons per year. Replacing the previous materials with natural fibers or recycled polymers from Beologic significantly reduces the CO2 footprint. This has resulted in many developments for injection molding and extrusion applications. The following product lines are manufactured by a highly motivated team: BeoBase (traditional wood-plastic compounds WPC based on standard polymers) , BeoGrade (bio-based compounds, with/without filler, compostable) , BeoSmart (density-optimized polyolefin compounds) BeoCycle (filled/unfilled compounds based on regranulate). Idemitsu PC SI-PC sPS
Idemitsu manufactures high-quality polycarbonates under the name TARFLON/TARFLON NEO and syndiotactic polystyrene resin (SPS) under XAREC. TARFLON was the first polycarbonate product to be manufactured on a commercialised production line based on our continuous solvent process developed in 1969. Since then, this outstanding technological development has been licensed worldwide. XAREC is the world's first syndiotactic polystyrene resin (SPS). Idemitsu developed this unique SPS product in our central research laboratories by combining a metallocene catalyst with a styrene monomer. The metallocene catalyst gives flexibility to the structure of the crystallised polystyrene SPS and enables a wide range of possibilities and applications.
Processing aids - UV-HALS - AOX - AB - Slip - Antifog
New at MLPlastics are special additive systems for transparent foils! The range of our Italian partner Free Flow includes, for example, antiblock and slip additives, HALS and UV stabilizers as well as antioxidants and process aids that have been developed for the production of transparent films. The products are suitable for both cast and blown films and are particularly suitable for thin films where the optical properties are particularly important.
