WIS Kunststoffe GmbH receives FDA approval for rPP in food applications

WIS Kunststoffe GmbH has received an official letter (Prenotification Consultation, PNC No. 3282) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) confirming the suitability of the company's proprietary recycling process. This confirms that the recycled polypropylene (rPP) produced is suitable for contact with food.

The FDA confirms that WIS's rPP PCR material may be used to manufacture articles that come into contact with all types of food under conditions E to G in accordance with FDA regulations.

WIS Kunststoffe thus meets the highest international requirements for the use of rPP in food applications and strengthens its position as an innovative supplier of sustainable plastic solutions.
