VARIOPLAST is an industrial company based in southern Germany that specializes in the development and series production of high-precision technical and decorative plastic parts in the field of injection molding. The focus is on sophisticated components and assemblies for applications that place the highest demands on quality, process stability, and flexibility.

Everything from a single source – from the idea to the packaged finished part
We process a wide range of technical thermoplastics and provide comprehensive support for projects: from the industrialization of new products and process optimization to stable series production and integrated assembly. We efficiently link production, quality control, and further processing through interlinked inline processes – for shorter throughput times and maximum process reliability.
• Injection molding: 1K/2K, multi-component, insert technology
• Surface finishing: Painting (single or multi-layer), PVD metallization, printing, laser engraving – also fully automated
• Joining: 3D foaming, ultrasonic welding, assembly of assemblies
• Toolmaking: In-house for short response times and maximum flexibility – supplemented by our own project team in China for cost-optimized tool procurement
• Packaging: Product-specific thermoformed inlays and our own reusable solution VARIOBOXX® for safe transport

Unique automation – economical even for small batch sizes
With a robot density of around 40%, we ensure maximum repeat accuracy and economical series production. Automated production cells, robot-assisted removal systems, and standardized processes form the basis. Supplemented by data-based production monitoring, we continuously optimize key figures such as cycle time and process stability.
Our team is constantly developing new, often unique inline processes – fully automated, interlinked, and flexibly expandable. Practical examples: fully automated painting and PVD metallization processes, combinable with laser and ultrasonic technology.

A family business with a future
As a family business in transition from the second to the third generation, we manufacture in 3 shifts and are certified according to IATF 16949, DIN EN ISO 9001, and ISO 14001. For us, sustainability is not an obligation, but a conviction. And we prove every day that ecology is not at odds with economics – on the contrary: at VARIOPLAST, environmentally friendly solutions are also the more economical ones.
Our fully automated inline processes are at the heart of this approach: by closely linking production, finishing, and quality control, we consistently minimize waste, energy, and material consumption. This is complemented by a holistic energy concept that puts us among the leaders in terms of competitiveness: geothermal energy, photovoltaics with electricity storage, heat recovery, heat pumps, and rainwater utilization work together intelligently. The result: an ecological footprint that is significantly below the industry average – while maintaining competitive costs for our customers.
Looking ahead, we are planning to expand quality-critical production areas – including future clean room capacities.
