About us
UNICAD Konstruktions GmbH has been developing plastic parts and designing tools and molds since 1993. Our team consists of 10 experienced employees who use modern CAD software and dedication to develop customer-oriented solutions and support you in the successful implementation of your projects.
Our core competencies include the design of multi-component, back-injection, hybrid, and multi-cavity injection molds. We also offer our customers extensive experience in the design of compression molds, dip-fit molds, and vulcanizing molds.
Our product development activities range from highly complex engine parts and household accessories to laboratory and medical technology, as well as electronic components such as signature pads and mobile data entry devices. We are familiar with all stages of product development, from the initial product idea through design, prototyping, tool design, and tool approval to production. We can support the entire process as needed or step in wherever our expertise is required.

tool design - plastic injection
For over 30 years, we have been designing injection molds and tools for a wide variety of applications. Our tool design expertise ranges from multi-component and back-injection molds to hybrid and highly complex multi-cavity molds. Intelligent solutions and sophisticated designs ensure a long service life for these tools, reduce manufacturing costs, and facilitate the implementation of necessary modifications and dimensional adjustments. Each of our designs is rendered in 3D down to the smallest detail.
Product development
In close collaboration with our customers, we create 3D models and product drawings for plastic, rubber, and composite parts. Because we continuously analyze the products during the development phase with regard to tooling feasibility, problems can be avoided in advance, tool designs simplified, and costs minimized.
