About us

Advanced compound solutions, locally produced, globally supported, bringing sustainability and proximity to every market

Sirmax Group is a global manufacturer of thermoplastic compounds and one of the world's leading producers of polypropylene compounds, engineering compounds, thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs), recycled materials, and compostable solutions for a wide range of industries, including automotive, household appliances, electrical and electronics, construction, furniture, packaging, and consumer goods.

Founded in Italy in 1964, Sirmax has evolved from a local family-owned company into an international industrial group with 13 production plants, research centers, and commercial operations across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Its manufacturing footprint includes six plants in Italy, two in Poland, one in Brazil, two in the United States, and two in India. The Group is further supported by a sales office in Milan and commercial branches in France, Spain, and Germany. Throughout its history, the company has combined technological innovation, customer proximity, and manufacturing excellence to support customers wherever they operate, delivering high-quality material solutions tailored to local market requirements.

At the core of Sirmax's business is the development and production of thermoplastic compounds engineered to meet specific performance, processing, regulatory, aesthetic, and sustainability requirements. The company's product portfolio includes polypropylene compounds, engineering compounds, thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), recycled compounds, bio-based solutions, and advanced materials designed for demanding industrial applications.

Sirmax works closely with OEMs, Tier suppliers, converters, molders, and brand owners to create material solutions that address increasingly complex industry challenges. These range from lightweighting and mechanical performance improvement to sustainability targets, recycled content integration, regulatory compliance, process optimization, and product circularity.
