MAURER Kunststofftechnik develops and sells technical thermoplastics in granulate form. The company not only acts as a pure manufacturer and distributor of technical plastics, MKT offers its customers a broadly tailored service.
A well-trained team that can draw on 30 years of experience provides advice and support when it comes to implementing technically demanding applications.
Today, customers from all important industrial sectors are supplied internationally. The company's focus is on applications in the automotive, electrical and electronics, household, construction and furniture industries.
The product range extends from standard thermoplastics to specialties such as slip-modified, flame-retardant, self-extinguishing, conductive and antistatic types. Coloring and small quantities can be taken into account specifically according to customer requirements.
The in-house product development laboratory supplements the immediate process sequence with all relevant thermal and mechanical analyses. The new logistics center at the Villingen-Schwenningen location rounds off the overall package, true to the company philosophy: “Everything from a single source!”
The product selection from MAURER Kunststofftechnik GmbH includes technical plastics such as polyamides (PA 4.6 / 6.6 / 12), polyacetal (POM homo- and copolymer), thermoplastic polyester (PBT), polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) and thermoplastic elastomers (TPE-V / TPE S) . Since 2022, the product portfolio has been expanded to include three new bio-based and therefore sustainable polyamide product groups. The product range also includes special compounds for the production of 3D printing filaments.
In order to maintain and improve the properties desired by customers, the company offers a variety of modified plastics. In addition to the most commonly used additives and fillers, the company also has a variety of specialties such as: glass fiber reinforced plastics, carbon fiber reinforced plastics, aramid fiber reinforced plastics, friction and wear-reducing plastics with PTFE, graphite and MOS.
The extensive range also includes conductive and antistatic plastics, laser-markable plastics, flame-retardant and antibacterial plastics, as well as plastics with food and drinking water approval.
MAURER Kunststofftechnik GmbH sees itself as a solution-oriented partner with an extensive product range, combined with a comprehensive service package in the in-house laboratory. All mechanical and thermal properties can be tested here to achieve the best results. The following tests can currently be carried out: impact testing, tensile and bending testing, melt flow tester, DSC, microscopic examinations, artificial weathering, color measurements and fire tests.
