CONSTAB Polyolefin Additives GmbH is a leading manufacturer of high-quality masterbatches for the plastics processing industry. For over 50 years, we have been developing customized solutions that meet the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and sustainability. Based in Rüthen/Germany, we supply powerful additive masterbatches to customers worldwide for a wide range of applications.
In addition to masterbatches for the film industry, we offer thermostabilizers to improve heat resistance, flame retardants for increased safety, antistatic masterbatches to minimize surface charges, and nucleating agents that enhance stability and appearance. Our innovative solutions help make plastics more efficient, sustainable, and economical.
Our patented chemical foaming agent Ecocell® sets new benchmarks in injection molding and extrusion. It significantly reduces material and energy consumption while creating a fine and uniform cell structure. The result: lighter components with excellent mechanical properties. Products & services
Nucleating Agent
Nucleating agents are used to reduce the crystallization and processing temperature in the manufacture of products from semi-crystalline polymers. Through their use, energy and production costs as well as throughput times can be reduced.
Ecocell®
Our masterbatches are designed to optimize the properties of end products for specific applications. With Ecocell® we have a patented, endothermic chemical foaming agent (CFA) masterbatch in our product portfolio that helps to improve several requirements for plastics at the same time. The use of Ecocell® significantly reduces material consumption, and in addition, mechanical properties of the products can be optimized. Furthermore, cooling times are shortened, performance is increased and energy costs are reduced.
CON-Batch 30X
Do you want to save 30 % polypropylen in your formulation while maintaining the properties? Together with the Institute for Plastics Technology at the University of Stuttgart, we have developed a special product to be able to produce thermal films more sustainably by saving energy and materials. This project was funded by the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU). With our new product CONSTAB® CON-Batch 30X, films can be produced more densely and firmly - the film thickness, on the other hand, can be reduced by about 25 %, the heating power by about 20 %.
