Polypearl™ ME
🔵 High-purity, free-flowing PMSQ micropowder with a unique 3D siloxane structure for use in masterbatches and compounds. ⚪ The hybrid structure of Polypearl™ ME combines the advantages of organic compounds (elasticity, haptics, compatibility with organic substances) with those of inorganic compounds (excellent temperature and chemical resistance). Outstanding optical properties, such as defined light scattering for translucent plastics, characterize this high-performance additive. The narrow, controlled particle size distribution ensures optimal antiblocking and spacer properties in foils and films. Polypearl™ ME is easy to incorporate and meets the requirements for key regulatory aspects and food approvals. 🔵 Advantages: • High temperature stability > 400°C • Homogeneous light diffusion • No yellowing • Narrow, uniform particle size distribution • Very good chemical resistance • Excellent flow and dispersing properties • Food approval • High efficiency with low dosage • Tasteless and odorless • Non-migrating • Excellent slip properties 🔵 Applications: Masterbatches and compounds: • Light scattering in PC, PMMA, PA, PVC, PS, etc. • Light diffuser in foils and films • Antiblocking and slip in foils and films 🔵 Available particle sizes: 1-10 µm
MH-FD
🔵 High-performance PMMA-based microspheres with a homogeneous, narrow particle size distribution and exceptional temperature resistance. ⚪ Due to their broad compatibility and food approval, these PMMA microspheres are used in numerous industries and applications. 🔵 Advantages: • Broad compatibility • No yellowing • Narrow, controlled particle size distribution • Temperature resistant up to approx. 270 °C • Easy incorporation • Food approval 🔵 Applications: Masterbatches and compounds for: • Light diffusion in films and foils • Structure, haptics (co-extrusion) 🔵 Available particle sizes: 5 – 100 µm
MH-FHD
🔵 High-temperature resistant variant of the MH series ⚪ The products of the MH-FHD series are particularly suitable for use in engineering plastics and in all areas requiring particularly high processing temperatures. 🔵 Advantages: • Temperature resistant up to 300 °C • Widely compatible • Narrow, controlled particle size distribution • Excellent flow and dispersing properties • Food-grade approval 🔵 Applications: Masterbatches and compounds: • Antiblocking in foils and films • Light scattering in PC, PS, and silicone 🔵 Available particle sizes: 3 µm, 4 µm, 5 µm
MS-FHC
🔵 High-temperature resistant PS-based microbeads ⚪ Thanks to their temperature resistance of up to 310 °C, the MS-FHC series is particularly suitable for use in engineering plastics and in applications requiring very high processing temperatures. With a refractive index of 1.59, MS-FHC microbeads act as an efficient lightdiffusion additive in PMMA and silicone compounds. 🔵 Advantages: • Broad compatibility • Good resistance • Temperature resistant up to approx. 310 °C • Narrow, controlled particle size distribution • Excellent flow and dispersing properties • Food approval 🔵 Applications: Masterbatches and compounds: • Light scattering in foils and films • Antiblocking in foils and films • Light scattering in PMMA and silicone • Antiglare in PC 🔵 Available particle sizes: 3 µm, 5 µm, 10 µm
PS 50
🔵 PS/PMMA copolymer microspheres for use in coextrusion applications ⚪ PS 50 ensures glare-free surfaces through homogeneous light scattering and uniform matting.
