CAMPETELLA ROBOTIC CENTER SRL.
About us
CAMPETELLA is one of the world's leading manufacturers of robots for packaging and medical applications. CAMPETELLA Top-Entry Robots and Side Entry Robots are used wherever short cycle times are required. From IML robots for yoghurt cups up to 30 litre pails, side entry take-out of caps & closures with high cavities including boxing have for solution concepts. A pivotal role is also played by Coilers for flexible pipes, which Campetella has been manufacturing since the 1980s. From corrugated to coated pipes, Campetella coilers can handle pipe diameters ranging from 6 mm to 200 mm and coil outer diameters up to 2 meters, with the possibility of integrating end-of-line automation!
Speed, productivity, and reliability are the key factors that define our automation solutions.
A strong sales and technical support network in northern Germany guarantees a high level of availability and support for our robots and coilers

Products & services

SPIN
The revolutionary SCARA with superior dexterity The Spin 2 X-Series is a new way to conceive and employ the SCARA. High vertical run, long carbon fibre arms and built-in wrist are the ingredients of a new architecture. Designed to ensure wide working spaces, with heights only achieved by six-axle robots with an often oversized payload.

Modula Food Pack
A new concept delivering maximum flexibility, compactness, and performance for food packaging production up to 8 cavities. With just 5.5 meters in length, the system achieves cycle times as fast as 4 seconds, with 100% quality inspection, single-part rejection, and fully automated boxing. It can operate for over 6 hours without any material refills or operator intervention. An IML robot that embodies more than 20 years of Campetella’s expertise in food packaging, setting a new benchmark in the industry.

Sprue picker robots
The sprue picker with a rotary pneumatic base for minimum footprint. SP3R-AR PRIME-Series is a Cartesian-rotary sprue picker, made of profiled aluminum and recommended for IMMs from 20 to 300 tons. Its peculiarity consists in having three electric servo-guided axes, two of which are linear (X, Y) and the other one is rotary (A) for the vertical axis’ rotation. In addition, it is equipped with an adjustable rotary pneumatic base, which in certain cases is perfect for limiting the automation footprint.

GYRE 400
The ultra-fast and compact automation, where coiler and robot perfectly integrate. Gyre 400 is a single reel coiler designed to wind and package reels with an external diameter up to 400 mm. The integrated programmable Cartesian robot enables the reel to be unloaded with rapid movements, optimal control and the lowest footprint on the ground.

GYRE 800
Next-level automation. Gyre 800 is a coiler with two parallel reels, created for high-speed winding and packing of reels with an external diameter up to 800 mm. Its innovative automatic regulation system, that adapts itself according to the internal diameter and width of the reel, is aimed at offering the highest level of precision and flexibility with different reel formats.

GYRE 1200
Reshape the concept of coilers and start benefiting from non-stop production. Gyre 1200 is a coiler with two in-line reels, meant for the high-speed winding and packing of reels with an external diameter up to 1200 mm. The new platform has been developed with secondary winding and binding units in order to raise the bar for reliability and non-stop running. What’s more, it boasts a surprisingly compact footprint, especially laterally.

Stack mold robots
Optimise space while increasing productivity and sustainability. The stack-moulding technology relies on a specially designed injection-moulding mould, whereby the plastic can be spread over two or more levels of the mould itself. As a result, the productivity of the press doubles while the moulding times remain unchanged. This technology offers unquestionable advantages in high-productivity sectors, optimising the company’s costs while respecting the environment: considering the same cavity for a single moulding operation, the press tonnage is almost halved compared to traditional systems. This helps to considerably lower energy consumption and the relative CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, thus reducing the impact on global warming. The green economy challenge is now a reality and we can no longer forgo the use of highly efficient and sustainable production systems.

IML Technology
In-mold labeling application. The IML molding technique allows the in-mold labeling application. Besides assuring an extremely attractive product, the in-mold labeling technology allows avoiding waste of time and all the steps needed to apply the label. - Highly configurable IML robots - Full electric technology - Fast cycle times

Cartesian Side Entry Robots
Highly configurable robots, optimized to guarantee maximum performance even at the highest speeds. Preserving linearity and simplicity of Cartesian programming, the peculiar architecture of the lateral robot allows to minimize the components’ path from the picking area towards the storage area. A shorter path, combined with powerful engines on a rigid frame, give life to a robot with extreme performance, allowing a considerable reduction in terms of production times.

Cartesian Top Entry Robot
Highly configurable robots, optimized to guarantee maximum performance in specific sectors. Campetella Robotic Center has a wide range of Cartesian robots, each one designed and optimized to guarantee maximum performance in the most specific sectors. Featured by a modular design, the particular characteristics of each robot are the result of the fusion between series and mechanical family.

High speed take out
LIGHTWEIGHT MATERIALS FOR HIGH-SPEED PRODUCTION The use of innovative technologies and materials, which is functional to the robot axes’ rapid handling, joins our deep knowledge of the interface principles among machines, allowing us to increase the industrial systems’ productivity. - Carbon fiber robot structure - 3D-printed gripping systems - Intervention time: less than 2.5 seconds
