Since 1956, BWF Profiles has stood for precision, quality, and innovation in plastics extrusion. With production sites in Offingen, Germany, and Wuxi, China, we develop and manufacture high-quality plastic solutions for demanding industrial applications.
BWF Profiles specializes in the extrusion of technical plastic profiles, as well as sheets, tubes, and optical films. As a market leader in Europe and Asia, we develop customized solutions with a particular focus on lighting applications, complemented by additional technical fields of application. Our key priorities are maximum dimensional accuracy, functional integration, and targeted material optimization.
With BWF Thermoforms, we expand our portfolio to include the thermoforming process. BWF Thermoforms develops and manufactures high-quality thermoformed parts for technical and design-oriented applications – ranging from function-integrated components to complex visible parts. State-of-the-art thermoforming systems, in-house tooling, and stable processes ensure consistently high component quality.
From the initial idea through prototypes and pre-series to full-scale production, we support our customers as a development partner at eye level. An in-house technical center, integrated tool and mold making, and continuous research and development enable short development cycles and secure a sustainable technological advantage.

Thermoformed Parts by BWF Thermoforms
BWF Thermoforms specializes in the development and production of high-quality thermoformed parts for demanding technical and design-oriented applications. Using state-of-the-art thermoforming systems, we process thermoplastic materials into dimensionally accurate, function-integrated components with complex geometries and high-quality surfaces. Our thermoformed parts are used wherever low component weight, high design freedom, and cost-efficient manufacturing are required. Through in-house tooling, stable and reproducible processes, and close coordination between development and production, we ensure consistently high quality – from prototypes and pre-series to full-scale production. A particular focus is placed on the integration of technical functions, such as fastening elements, reinforcement structures, or assembly features, as well as on the precise realization of visible and functional surfaces. Complementary downstream processes, including CNC machining, drilling, and surface finishing, enable ready-to-install thermoformed parts from a single source. BWF Thermoforms stands for technical expertise, process reliability, and customized solutions in thermoforming.
Light-technical plastic profiles
First-class quality, highest precision and surface quality, precise fit and functional. From the project planning phase to tool creation and series production - together we develop and create the ideal plastic profiles for your requirements. Our competent plastic engineers, an experienced construction team, our own colour laboratory as well as a state-of-the-art, in-house tool manufacture and our service-oriented processing centre guarantee demand-oriented, fast and economical implementations.
Kunststoffplatten
BWF Profiles offers customers a large selection of sheets with a wide variety of photometric properties. Our diverse product range is completed by light-directing, light-diffusing, forward-diffusing and light-reflecting plastic sheets. Choose from a variety of materials such as polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polycarbonate (PC), acrylic satiné or satiné blend. Whether embossed, satin-finished, in BWF colourLED® or BWF reflectWHITE - we have a solution that is right for you. The majority of our sheets are available from stock at short notice. Depending on the quantity purchased, plastic sheets can also be extruded in the colour of your choice, various wall thicknesses and production lengths.
Diffusionsfolien
With our optical foils in various designs we offer the ideal solution for every requirement. Whether modern lighting concepts with mostly tiny LED light sources or flat lighting systems. With our light-diffusing foils you achieve an optimal light diffusion without visible hotspots at highest transmission. Point-shaped light sources are transformed into pleasantly uniformly illuminated surfaces. We offer all optical foils as rolled goods with 250 m per roll in a width of 700 mm or in our standard sheet size 700 mm x 3050 mm. Of course, we are also happy to realize customer-specific coils, blanks or finished parts for you. Individual colouring is also available on request for a minimum quantity.

Extruded plastic tubes are fit for any number of different applications: Lighting, as LED holders with internal webbing, for a wide variety of optical features, as containers in industry or even as decorative elements. Coming in round, oval, rectangular or in more complex shapes, BWF Profiles offers top quality, precision products that further distinguish themselves through their surface finish, accurate fit and function.
