Awarded! Brenntag wins German Sustainability Award

Brenntag has received the German Sustainability Award in the Chemical and Materials Wholesale category—Germany's most prestigious award for ecological and social commitment.

The jury particularly recognized:
• our leading role in sustainability,
• the alignment of our portfolio on sustainable solutions (2024: 91%, target for 2025: 100%),
• our CO₂Xplorer, which helps customers understand and reduce their carbon footprint,
• and our CO₂ reduction targets, which have been validated by the Science Based Targets Initiative.

Brenntag was beating out other well-known companies such as Univar, IMCD, Azelis, and Caldic and will be officially honored in Düsseldorf in December.

This success is another milestone on our joint journey toward greater sustainability.
