MTF Technik Hardy Schürfeld GmbH & Co. KG is a second-generation, owner-managed family business with 50 years of experience in design, project planning and production of high-quality solutions in the areas of conveyor technology, separation systems and automation.
MTF Technik offers the perfect solution for any conveying requirement, based on the modular Multi-Tech system. The possible combinations of 35 standard belt covers, more than 250 underframes, various guiding profiles, drive units and accessories allows adaptation to each individual task.
Next to the belt conveyors, the Multi-Tech steel mesh, steel plate and magnetic conveyors or the compact I-Tech conveyors complete the conveyor programme and therefore are suitable for special operating conditions.
The wide range of MTF separating devices, i.e. different separating drums, a Multi-Separator, separating attachments to attach to the Multi-Tech conveyors and various special solutions cover any separation task of injection-moulded parts and sprues for the plastics and die-casting industry.
The MTF product range is rounded off by customised automation solutions for a rational production. The Multi-Lift Buffer Station, the Pick-up Station, the Multi-Rounder and various reject chutes for distributing material (e.g. below machine shafts) are an integral part of the production chain and automate the material handling.

Conveyor Technology, Separation Systems and Automation
MTF Technik offers individual solutions to optimise your material flow in production, as a single device for conveying, separating, distributing and buffering, or as a combined system. This image demonstrates such a combination, consisting of parts feeding with a vertical belt conveyor from a bunker, subsequent separation using a patented rectangle separating drum and finally distribution of the separated parts to a lift buffer station and a floor-level displacement buffer sliding plate. The lift system is also equipped with an integrated weighing cell in order to show how plastic components are counted by means of weight conversion. Caroussel Depot Station
The AUA 202 carousel depot station is a space-saving solution for buffering and counting parts in sacks, bags, boxes, or cartons. The containers are arranged on a turntable and are filled at a fixed position, where they are supplied by the timed rotation. MTF Technik designs the diameter, materials, number and shape of the holders for the containers, and the control system to meet individual customer requirements. Depending on the desired buffer capacity and container size, the diameter of the turntable can vary between approximately 800 mm and nearly 2,000 mm. The container holders can be mounted directly on the turntable or at a predetermined working height – if required, even in multiple levels to maximize buffer capacity within a given footprint. The design of the holders, in terms of shape, material, and functionality, can be customized to a high degree. Overall, the AUA 202 carousel depot station combines sophisticated, low-maintenance technology, maximum flexibility and highest reliability – for perfectly coordinated, efficient and safe parts logistics in your production. The KUTENO exhibit is a compact two-level caroussel station with a diameter of 1,200mm for buffering 8 containers with a base area of 400x300mm each.
