The patented air-cooling lubrication technology medium distributor completely replaces cooling lubricant and minimum quantity lubrication systems, delivering immense quality improvements and cost reductions for machining companies. This is achieved through a significant reduction in frictional pressure on the tools, a 100% chip-free machining zone and consistently low machining temperatures.
Dry machining is possible with just a few components, such as a spindle adapter, special nozzle bodies known as red sleeves, and a pump module for the on-demand addition of aerosol quality coolant, which can be retrofitted or fully integrated when a new machine is purchased.

Air-cooling-lubrication technology medium distributor
The patented air- cooling lubrication technology medium distributor is technically unique and achieves the impressive production results by using compressed air, which is blown along the cutting edges from a stationary nozzle body (red sleeve). The medium distributor mills in a technically and physically different way to conventional systems and completely replaces coolant and MQL solutions. It works without a coolant supply through the spindle (IKZ) and offers a sustainable and resource-saving solution to the usual additive systems.

The double-walled nozzle body does not rotate. It is fitted with a ring of blast nozzles which apply the compressed air (6 bar) to the cutting edges. Due to the lack of rotation, the Venturi effect works so that an air jacket is created on the tool cutting edges right down to the workpiece. If required, the compressed air can be mixed with aerosol-fine lubricant, which evaporates almost completely during machining. This eliminates the need for reworking and cleaning. The use of compressed air also ensures that the machining area is 100 per cent free of chips and reduces the frictional pressure, resulting in a massive increase in tool life.
