KraussMaffei's headquarters have been in Munich since it was founded in 1838. Since April 2016, KraussMaffei has been majority owned by China National Chemical Corp. Ltd. (“ChemChina”), one of the largest chemical companies in China. Since the end of 2018, the KraussMaffei Group has been under the umbrella of KraussMaffei Company Ltd. listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
KraussMaffei stands for first-class products that are manufactured at 16 locations around the globe, including Munich, Hanover/Laatzen, Einbeck (Burgsmüller), Plauen (Plamag), Manningtree (Pultrex, Essex, UK), Jiaxing (China), Sucany (Slovakia). ), Näfels (Switzerland, headquarters of the subsidiary NETSTAL Group) and Florence (USA).
KraussMaffei is currently undertaking the largest investment program in its history to further modernize the traditional company. The group is investing more than 100 million euros in new plants, for example in Munich/Parsdorf, Hanover/Laatzen, Einbeck (for the Burgsmüller subsidiary) and Jiaxing in China.

DCIM - Direct Compounding Injection Molding

COMPOUNDING AND INJECTION MOLDING IN ONE STEP KraussMaffei has over two decades of experience in the production of injection molded components from directly compounded materials. Our DCIM and IMC solutions cover a wide range of applications in the automotive, logistics and technology segments. This technology is becoming more relevant today. Sustainable products made from recyclates are in increasing demand, as are energy-saving and cost-efficient manufacturing solutions. The injection molding compounder combines the value-adding factors in molded part production in a unique way: It combines compounding and injection molding - and thus technological innovation with high economic efficiency. Sustainable: By working with one heat, the systems save a lot of energy compared to two-stage production. They are also ideal for processing recyclates. High quality: Compounds can be provided in component-specific recipes, even in small quantities. The quality of the components therefore corresponds exactly to the respective requirements. Value-creating: The processor significantly reduces its material costs and achieves high economic efficiency.
