HASCO Mould Track for precise indoor localisation of injection moulding tools
In an increasingly competition-oriented industry, it is of major importance for companies to optimise their manufacturing processes and reduce bottlenecks. It generally occurs in an injection moulding company, over the course of time, that the number of injection moulding tools builds up significantly and, after the production of a batch, the moulding tool is put into storage. When it is needed the next time, it is essential to know quickly and exactly where to find it in order to prevent a long search and perhaps production bottlenecks as a result. The key to the success of Mould Track lies in the highly modern technology. Through the integration of precise ultra-broadband radio modules and an intelligent software platform, Mould Track offers a localisation accuracy of down to a few centimetres. With robust algorithms, the system enables the exact tracking and localisation of injection moulding tools indoors. The advantages for the injection moulding sector are considerable, providing a significant advantage over the competition: The system enables the exact tracking of injection moulding tools in real time and the digital interlinking of processes. Innovative Shadowfree technology eliminates shadow formations in valve gate systems
In conventional injection moulding, undesirable, poorly flowing areas often occur in the hot runner due to roughness around the valve pin. This results in degradation reactions in the plastic melt and exceptionally long colour transitions. The new Shadowfree manifold concept from HASCO Hot Runner uses a revolutionary design to combat this problem. Uniform flushing around the needle The 3D-printed, screwed-on system effectively splits the material flow into streamlined channels to evenly flush around the needle and reunites them at the point where the valve pin enters the melt channel. Rigorous testing has shown that the system provides a rapid transition from black to white material in just 25 cycles, outperforming conventional valve gate systems by three to four times. In addition to the proven advantages of the Streamrunner, such as the elimination of dead spots, a particularly gentle material flow and thus a noticeable reduction in pressure losses, the Shadowfree technology now also offers a solution for extremely sensitive materials in terms of heat stability in combination with valve gate systems. With the additively manufactured Streamrunner®, HASCO started a new era in the world of hot runner technology. It was developed with state-of-the-art technologies for innovative future-oriented solutions. The compact and perfectly balanced Streamrunner ensures particularly gentle melt guidance in combination with excellent colour change characteristics. The leak-proof system is also particularly suitable for multi-cavity systems. Super-fast colour changes with valve gate systems The Streamrunner® Shadowfree is now well on its way to further revolutionising the manufacturing landscape. Customer-oriented expansion of ejector range
HASCO's extensive product portfolio of ejector pins, ejector sleeves and flat ejectors has once again been extended to meet the demands of the market. Over 700 new dimensions and additional designs in a total of 13 product groups are available to be able to better satisfy individual customer requirements. The focus here is on the quality material HSS, which has much higher temperature resistance and strength compared with conventional tool steel types. This allows, among other things, much longer lifetimes and reduced mould maintenance costs. A number of innovative products supplement the proven standard range of hardened or nitrided ejectors, with or without a DLC coating. Ejector pins Z402/… Core pins Z4001/… and Z4101/… Flat ejector pins Z46720/… and Z46710/… With this extensive broadening of the portfolio, HASCO allows its customers maximum flexibility in the individual selection of the right demoulding element.

HASCO multicoupling system – Extension of product range
The innovative HASCO multicoupling system enables the central connection of several cooling circuits in one single step, and offers numerous advantages in process optimisation. Setting-up procedures can be carried out through a reliable and simple connection of the machine and mould side with only one lever movement and without any risk of mixing up the different cooling circuits and hoses. New: Multicoupling system USA, French and clean-break system HT In addition to the standard system, the new USA (ZI) and French (FRA) systems are now also available as open or closed versions with valve. In addition, HASCO offers the clean-break multicoupling system exclusively also as a HT version with flat sealing front surfaces, which reliably prevents cooling fluid leaking when decoupling. The temperature resistance of the multicouplings can be increased to 180°C with water applications, creating considerable competitive advantage. Modular structure HASCO thus offers a wider range of services for customers throughout the world. Overall, the extension to the product range comprises 60 new products, each with three model series. Plates are available for 6, 12 and 20-connections, whereby the couplings can also be replaced without dismantling the hoses. The modular structure allows individual configuration as well as simple integration into all existing systems. Variety of combination possibilities The exceptional diversity of combination possibilities with nipples, couplings and hoses opens the door to future-oriented solutions for all tasks in cooling technology. Vario Shot Xgate – New interchangeable needle-valve pre-chamber
For some years now, the particularly effective Vario Shot nozzle range from HASCO hot runner has been enjoying increase in popularity. With the new interchangeable needle valve pre-chamber Vario Shot Xgate, HASCO has extended its proven nozzle portfolio. Vario Shot Xgate simplifies maintenance This wear resistant Xgate simplifies the maintenance of the injection moulding tool and significantly reduces the maintenance costs. The life of the gates is considerably extended and guarantees perfect moulding quality over millions of injection cycles. Precise needle guidance with pre-centring The easily changed pre-chamber with a compact, easy-to-produce tight fit offers precise needle guidance with pre-centring and is also highly resistant to abrasive and chemically aggressive materials. Individually geared to applications, the two new variants of the Vario Shot Xgate offer the ideal solution, either for amorphous or for semi-crystalline plastics. The gate area and contact surfaces can be varied for application-specific temperature control. Optimum supplement to the Vario Shot nozzle range The needle valve pre-chamber Xgate perfectly supplements the Vario Shot range, which is noted for its compact dimensions, optimum temperature control, simple servicing, and modular design. More than 1,000 nozzle variants enable countless demanding applications, from gating on lower distributor manifolds up to high-end needle valve solutions. The wide selection of nozzle lengths with runner and individual nozzles offers an elevated level of freedom in mould design. Innovative Cooling Tornado Z9665/… - Saving energy directly in the mould
With the new HASCO Cooling Tornado, HASCO is providing an innovative solution for increasing efficiency and saving energy during the cooling of the mould. The Cooling Tornado Z9665/... offers a variety of application possibilities and can be used both in combination with runners in core cooling systems and directly in the corresponding cooling bores. Through the production of a turbulent flow, the effectiveness of the cooling is increased by up to 20 % (depending on the flow l/min). This turbulence interrupts the laminar lower layer of the cooling medium and has the effect that also the inner core of the cooling medium flows to the outer sheath, and thus considerably improves the heat transfer. Turbulent flow for efficient cooling The Cooling Tornado allows, through the turbulent flow, efficient cooling for shorter cycle times and the avoidance of hot spots, which ensures uniform temperature distribution. Compared with conventional cooling bores, temperature differences of up to 10 °C can be attained. The turbulence of the cooling medium leads to an energy saving of between 20 and 40 %. The Cooling Tornado allows easy retrofitting as well as the possibility of customised shortening, making for uncomplicated installation on existing systems. The installation itself is also extremely simple. The Cooling Tornado can be quickly retrofitted and is simply positioned and fixed at the end via a clamping ring. The mounting can both be carried out in combination with cooling pipes such as Z962/... for core cooling and also directly mounted in the cooling bores.

HASCO marking stamps Z48600ff/…, not height-adjustable
Marking stamps in injection moulding tools are used for the unambiguous marking and identification of moulded parts through serial numbers, production data or batch numbers. HASCO has launched the new marking stamps Z48600/… - Z48645/... without height adjustment to enable simple solutions for the unambiguous, direct labelling of injection-moulded parts. The stamps are noted for their precise latching function and an exactly consistent axial height position when adjusting the arrow insert, thereby increasing the quality of the component. The recessed engraving of the marking stamps guarantees a clean and precise reproduction of the injection-moulded parts. This ensures good reliability and resistance of the labelling. The simple changing of the arrow inserts from the parting plane facilitates maintenance and adjustment of the moulds. The marking stamps are also suitable for very small installation spaces from 2.6 mm, which considerably extends their application possibilities. Made from the rust-free material 1.4112, the marking stamps offer a high level of resistance to corrosion. The low-wear mechanics of the stamps guarantees a long service life and reliable functioning over many production cycles. The new series rounds off the proven range of HASCO marking stamps and offers users a variety of reliable possibilities for unambiguous product labelling.
