FKuR is a medium-sized, privately held company focusing on the development, production and marketing of high-quality special compounds and the distribution of plastic specialties and recyclates.
We are one of the leading suppliers of sustainable plastics for flexible packaging solutions and engineering applications.
We at FKuR are convinced that nature itself is the best recycler. That's why we want to use targeted research and development to create sustainable materials that on the one hand conserve fossil resources and on the other hand can be easily integrated into the reusable material cycle.
Our customers are our partners, we accompany them throughout the entire project: We recommend the most suitable plastic - be it bio-based, biodegradable or recycled - for the given application or develop an individual compound on request. As we have a broad network of reliable partners at our disposal, we can bring brand owners together with the appropriate processor. During the implementation phase, extensive technical support, including on-site customer support, is a matter of course for us. Finally, we support our customers with marketing-relevant questions within the framework of a successful market launch.

I’m green™ PE - Polyethylene made from sugar cane
Braskem´s I´m green™ PE is based on renewable resources. The product portfolio comprises several HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE types. These are particularly suitable for extrusion blow molding, injection molding and film extrusion. I´m green™ PE is suitable for the following applications: ◦ bottles ◦ tubes ◦ bags ◦ packaging household articles Advantages of I´m green™ PE at a glance: ☑ Same properties as fossil PE ☑ Drop-in: processing on existing production facilities ☑ 100 % recyclable ☑ Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions: each ton of I'm green PE produced captures up to 2.12 tons of CO₂

Recyclates and recyclate compounds from post-consumer and pre-consumer sources
Our recyclate portfolio includes high-quality recycled PP and PE, PP compounds, as well as LDPE recyclates derived from beverage cartons containing aluminum flakes. RECYCLATES The PE and PP recyclates are RecyClass certified and can be processed via injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion. These recyclable drop-ins are suitable for the following non-food applications: ◦ Bottles ◦ Jars and pots ◦ Canisters ◦ Caps and closures ◦ Buckets ◦ Films MACOLEN® The RecyClass certified Macolen® PP recyclate compounds are suitable for injection molding and profile extrusion. Talc-filled compounds with 20 or 40 wt.-% are also available. These modified recyclates are drop-in plastics and can be used in the following non-food applications: ◦ Packaging and containers for decorative cosmetics and accessories ◦ Jars and pots as well as corresponding screw caps ◦ Technical parts ◦ Buckets ◦ Plant pots PALUREN The LDPE obtained from used beverage cartons contains around 4% aluminum flakes, giving it a unique visual appearance. Paluren is RecyClass certified and can be processed via extrusion and injection molding. It is suitable for the following applications: ◦ Technical parts ◦ Buckets ◦ Plant pots ◦ Hair accessories and fashion accessories TERRALENE® rPP This PP compound is partially bio-based and contains a recyclate content of up to 60%. As a drop-in material, it can be processed via injection molding and extrusion. Terralene® rPP is highly recyclable and suitable for the following non-food applications: ◦ Jars and pots ◦ Plant pots ◦ Bottles and canisters ◦ Plastic housings

Bio-Flex® – Bioplastics for a variety of applications
Bio-Flex® products are completely biodegradable plastics (acc. to EN 13432) and are based entirely or partially on natural raw materials. Bio-Flex® is suitable for the following applications: ◦ agricultural films ◦ plant clips ◦ household film ◦ waste bags ◦ shoppers, bags ◦ trays ◦ nettings Advantages of Bio-Flex® at a glance: ☑ based on renewable resources ☑ certified biodegradable and compostable according to EN 13432 and ASTM D 6400 (depending on grade) ☑ certified home compostable grades available (OK Compost HOME certificate by TÜV Austria) ☑ can be processed on existing equipment without adjustments (Drop-In Solution) ☑ recyclable (in-house, e.g. production waste) ☑ food approved to EC Directives and FDA (depending on grade)

Terralene® - Tailor-made polyethylene compounds based on renewable raw materials and a proportion of recycled material
The Terralene® product family can be processed by injection molding and extrusion. In addition, Terralene® includes natural fiber reinforced compounds, as well as bio-based PP compounds and bio-recyclate hybrids. Terraprene® - Biobased TPE-compounds for extrusion and injection molding
Terraprene® is a bioplastics family of high-quality TPE compounds based on renewable resources. The product portfolio comprises various extrusion and injection molding grades, which can be processed on existing production equipment and tools. Terraprene® is suitable for the following applications: ◦ cuffs, e.g. for cups ◦ writing instruments ◦ dental care products ◦ handles, e.g. from toothbrushes or razors ◦ closures for drinking bottles Advantages of Terraprene® at a glance: ☑ biobased content of up to 74 % ☑ offers same properties and performance as fossil TPE ☑ pleasant touch and feel ☑ shore Hardness from Shore A 20 to Shore D 40 ☑ individual adjustments of properties possible ☑ manufacturing of tailor-made compounds through the use of appropriate additives possible ☑ oil-free grades available

Eastlon – Bio-PET based on renewable raw materials
Eastlon Bio-PET is a partially biobased polyethylene terephthalate whose MEG content (about 30% by weight) is obtained on the basis of renewable plant raw materials. Eastlon is suitable for the following applicatioins: ◦ bottles ◦ trays Advantages of Eastlon at a glance: ☑ high optical clarity ☑ good resistance to a variety of chemicals and oils ☑ can be recycled at up to 100% in the existing PET recycling streams ☑ properties & processing are the same as fossil PET ☑ drop-in solution ☑ not biodegradable and therefore durable
