Cooling Compact Slide
Introducing a new feature on the CUMSA compact slides with floating Insert. Now a cooling system is offered to be able to cool the head insert. At CUMSA we are aware of how challenging it can be removing heat during the molding process. We have now found an option to include cooling systems for difficult-to-cool areas in our compact slides, part number CS. The new component is the CR, (Cooled compact Slide) which is available in three standards sizes. The CR includes an insert with pre-drilled holes, these holes are designed to make it easier to finish the cooling circuit once the insert detail is machined. The insert also has a 1/8 Gas threaded hole on each side to connect the Cooling Hoses, (MR sold separately) directly to the waterlines. The model CR42 has 3 predrilled holes, model CR52 has 4 holes, and the larger model, the CR62, has 5. With this addition CUMSA has delivered an effective cooling system, which can help optimize the molding process, lower cycle times, decrease energy consumption and improve plastic part quality. What is new about this product? The cooling system combined with the insert design eliminates the need for a high precision pocket. What sets this product apart from its competitors? The ease of installation and simple maintenance, along with its reduced space required for its assembly in the mold. How has this product evolved from previous models or releases to provide improvements, address issues, or otherwise help users in making a purchase decision? We have Added cooling to the Compact Slides line launched last year. Describe key choices in how this product has been designed. The customers and market constantly in need of increasingly optimized mold performance and shorter cycle times.

Automatic Safety Strap
FAST & SAFE: WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED? WITHOUT HUMAN INVOLVEMENT From the warehouse directly to the injection machine without the need to remove screws nor straps. With minimal human involvement required, just assemble the mold to the machine and start the production. ENHANCED SECURITY Mold will be perfectly closed while stored away and ready to produce plastic parts as soon as it is back in the injection machine. ADAPTABLE TO DIFFERENT MOLD TYPES Specially designed to be used in the most conventional mold types / configurations. TOUGH AND COMPACT DESIGN Perfect and simple design to fit and secure a wide range of heavy molds, Small but powerful! Don’t let its compact dimensions deceive you. A large mold, up to 30 tons, only requires one unit to securely maintain its closed position outside of the press.

Double Rack System
De-moulding strokes of 14mm to 100mm. Adaptable to the customer's draft (+35º up to -60º). Fast delivery of the required draft. Vertical function maximizing strength. Complete flexibility for the moulding insert dimension. Big savings in time & cost for machining and adjustments. Eliminates the need for high-precision angled housings in the core plates. Eliminates the need for cam actions in the ejection plates. Significant reduction in the tool size. Smaller and less expensive injection machine required. Significant reduction to the ejection stroke.
