About us
AHP Merkle GmbH has been developing, designing and manufacturing high-quality hydraulic cylinders demanded worldwide since 1973. Many of our individually developed cylinders are now standard in the industry: our products are the result of a modular product range policy and offer our customers economic individuality and rapid availability. An outstanding status that would be unthinkable without our more than 260 employees at our headquarters in Gottenheim (Germany) and in our sales offices in Hong Kong, Shenzen and Suzhou (China) as well as Guissano (Italy) and Marinha Grande (Portugal). But it is also a status that enables us to operate internationally in Europe, America and Asia. Moderate management, the foresight to build on the obvious and to maintain trusting relationships with our business partners are a tradition for us.
As a family-run company, now in its 2nd generation, we believe in values. And we live these values. The AHP DNA is special and unique. In addition to values such as continuity, integrity and sustainability, we also understand reliability, honesty, openness and clarity. The new organizational structure formed in 2018 and 2019 further promotes this: we work in teams and have abolished department heads. The integration of every single employee, including in the decision-making process, creates unprecedented momentum that enables forward-looking decisions. Since 2010, we have been using a completely redesigned building in Gottenheim near Freiburg i. Brsg., which has been expanded several times in the meantime. Since November 2019, we have also been working in the new plant 2, which was built directly next to it on the company premises. Thanks to the ideas and expertise of our employees, we are all highly motivated to work towards a common goal: we want to drive our customers' success.

Our broad product range of block cylinders offers the ideal solution for almost every requirement: Whether you are looking for a special mounting type or a block cylinder with through piston rodand end position cushioning. Moreover, we supply block cylinders with inductive request in the end position or also integrated over the entire stroke in an adjustable manner. Partly even ex stock!
