Modular gripper system:
Our modular system currently comprises over 2,500 parts and continues to grow. The basis of this system is formed by positive-locking slotted clamping profiles, to which various active elements such as gripper fingers and suction cups can be connected. A ground-breaking innovation is our PreciGrip prism system, which was introduced at the beginning of 2011. It enables faster and more precise assembly and offers an outstanding alternative to conventional profile systems. We have made our modular gripper system particularly user-friendly with numerous detailed improvements.

GRIPPER (EOAT) SYSTEM - PreciGrip / Channel Nut
AGS prism system ensures more precision, faster assembly and greater stability when building grippers. With PreciGrip from AGS Automation Greifsysteme Schwope GmbH, parts can be subsequently integrated into an assembly - without removing other elements The company developed a completely new system for building grippers for industrial robots. With the PreciGrip, AGS connects the various components of a gripper through its patented prism system. This results in numerous advantages: faster and more precise assembly, more stability of the gripper and the possibility of subsequently attaching parts to the inner area of the gripper - without having to remove the external elements. “If you want to use our system,” explains AGS managing director Marc Schwope, “you don’t have to convert everything straight away. The prism system can be combined with all components that need to be clamped round, such as gripper arms, gripper tongs and gripper fingers.” The assembly can be added at any time With PreciGrip, components can be retrofitted inside a gripper at any time - an invaluable advantage. In order to add elements to the middle of the gripper in conventional systems, the outer parts usually have to be removed. Only then can a new element be added. With the AGS patent, the part is simply attached to the desired location and then tightened. This saves the user a lot of time and works more precisely. Even the previously removed components do not have to be laboriously adjusted and attached again.

CadGrip 2.2 - Gripper configuration This software is simple and intuitive to use. No prior knowledge of operating a CAD system, for example, is required. CAD Grip works independently without the combined use of standard CAD software. Users can configure their gripper offline. "This eliminates the need to install software, which often leads to a high need for coordination with the IT department, especially in large companies. CAD - Grip is supplied on a USB stick. The application is started via an automatically executing file. Installation on the company computer is therefore not necessary.

If components are gripped via a bore, the IBG inner bellows gripper can be used. Different sizes are available. The operating principle is pushing / pulling. The inner bellows grippers can be very easily integrated into the gripping system via the extension thread.

Textile Gripper

Vacuum cups
The suction pad (vacuum cup) SG is the simplest and most cost-effective way to handle a component. There are various designs, materials and sizes. It can be attached directly to the profile, rigid, twistable, spring-loaded and via a lifting unit.

Gripping pliers
The GZA grippers are primarily used to grip the sprue. There are different types of grippers available. However, the component can also be gripped with the gripper. The gripper can be a good alternative to parallel grippers.

Gripper finger
If the demolding forces or the handling weight is too great that the vacuum suction cup is no longer sufficient, the GFI gripper fingers are used. There are different sizes with different finger shapes. Functional range: Single-acting, double-acting with or without self-locking. The modular system offers a wide range of accessories.
