3A Composites Industry Europe is the leading manufacturer for cast and extruded plastic sheets, aluminium composite materials and lightweight foamboards for the fields of agricultural and commercial vehicles, caravans, sanitary ware, furniture construction, shipbuilding and the rail vehicle construction industry.

ATHLONExtrusions® PMMA/ABS
ATHLONExtrusions® PMMA/ABS is a multi-layer, combination of PMMA co-extruded on high impact ABS. The benefits of this construction include an excellent A-face finish in a range of matt levels. Properties included within the range include superior scratch resistance, improved chemical resistance and excellent UV stability. These grades are all offered in an extremely wide variety of colours including metallics, pearlescent colours and a “FX” range. Easy processing during thermoforming and fabrication in all grades except the furniture products.
ATHLONExtrusions® ABS
ATHLONExtrusions® ABS is an engineering thermoplastic material with excellent impact strength used in areas where toughness and durability are of key importance. Produced in an infinite range of colours, finishes and textures. Excellent processability with a wide thermoforming temperature window. There are a very wide range of grades available to suit a multitude of applications.
CRYLON®
CRYLON® comprises an extensive range of large-format, extruded acrylic glass sheets featuring outstanding clarity and first-rate optical characteristics, excellent colour rendering and varying degrees of transparency. The premium quality surfaces have a high level of resistance to weathering and aging, and provide solutions for a variety of indoor and outdoor applications. For special applications, the product range offers the particularly impact-resistant version CRYLON® HI (High Impact). CRYLON® UVT is ideal for solariums and sunbeds. The sheets have high transmittance in the UV-A/UV-B spectral range and very good resistance to degradation following exposure to these rays. CRYLON® Soft Tone is characterised by double-sided matt surfaces.
IMPEX®
IMPEX® stands for a wide range of large-format, virtually unbreakable extruded polycarbonate sheets with very good optical and mechanical properties. The product range comprises a variety of different surfaces, variants and structures. The high quality sheets have a very good weathering resistance as well as an excellent impact strength. IMPEX® provides solutions for a large number of indoor and outdoor applications.
IMPEX® MULTIWALL*
IMPEX® MULTIWALL is a range of polycarbonate sheets - as clear as glass but stronger and more resistant to impact.
POLYCASA® PS
POLYCASA® PS represents extruded crystal polystyrene sheets, offering solutions for many indoor applications. Thanks to the extrusion process numerous colours and designs are available apart from the transparent, non-reflective and opal-white standard product.
ATHLONExtrusions® HIPS
ATHLONExtrusions® HIPS is a versatile, economic, solid thermoplastic characterised by its ease of processing in flat sheet and thermoforming applications. It is available in an infinite range of opaque colours including special effects such as pearlescent, metallic and FX and can be extruded in gloss or matt, the latter in a variety of surface textures.
POLYCASA® HIPS
POLYCASA® HIPS is a rubber modified polystyrene sheet that has improved impact strength and is easy to mould and cut to size. The product is available with either a matt finish on both sides or a matt finish on one side, and glossy surface on the other.
POLYCASA® SAN
POLYCASA® SAN is a plastic sheet with numerous extraordinary characteristics that distinguish it from conventional transparent materials.
HIPEX®
HIPEX® sheets are flawlessly extruded A-PET and PET-G thermoplastic polyester sheets. They stand out particularly in the transparent plastics sector because they are fire rated "difficult-to-ignite".
DUROLEN®
DUROLEN® sets new standards. With its high-quality gloss surface, DUROLEN® combines elegant aesthetics with outstanding technical properties. DUROLEN® sheets are particularly suitable for demanding thermoforming applications and are available in virtually any colour. DUROLEN® has very good recyclability due to the single-variety material compound (mono-material).
ALUCORE®
ALUCORE® is an aluminium composite panel consisting of two cover sheets and a honeycomb core of aluminium for a variety of applications in transport and industry or architecture, showing excellent product properties such as extraordinary flatness, large variety of colours and high formability.
ALUCOBOND®
ALUCOBOND® is a composite panel consisting of two aluminium cover sheets and a fire-retardant or non-combustible mineral-filled core. The superb properties of this material boost one’s inspiration and offer constructing engineers and designers a whole new range of solutions.
HYLITE®
YLITE® is an aluminium composite sheet with a polypropylene core and aluminium cover sheets. HYLITE®, in thicknesses of 1.2 and 2 mm is the world’s thinnest aluminium composite sheet. The core material features a special hinge function, i.e. HYLITE® withstands repeated bending without damage. The hinge function is achieved by milling grooves into the two outer aluminium cover layers in an identical position on both sides. RWTÜV has tested the hinge application, bending it 80,000 times without damage.
